Full Job Description

Do you have what it takes to ensure a smooth traffic flow and enhance the overall experience of travelling to and around head office? We are looking for someone who is organised, can take control and be an efficient and safe Traffic Management Officer to join our team! As a pivotal part of our operations, you will be responsible for managing traffic, assisting with events, and maintaining external facilities. - Monitor and manage traffic flow around the Next Head Office Campus.
- Implement plans to optimise traffic efficiency and safety.
- Coordinate with security personnel to ensure smooth vehicle movement.

Computer Work
- Utilise Google Sheets, Gmail, and internet browsers for traffic data management and communication.
- Maintain accurate records of traffic patterns and parking availability.

External Housekeeping
- Conduct regular inspections and upkeep of car parks and cycle shelters.
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of external facilities.

Assistance with Events
- Support Travel2Next sustainable travel events by providing on-site assistance as needed.
- Coordinate parking arrangements for event attendees and VIPs.

Ability to work in various weather conditions to ensure continuous traffic management.

Open-Minded Approach
- Maintain a positive and adaptable attitude when dealing with diverse situations and stakeholders.

Criteria:

- Previous experience in traffic management or related fields preferred.
- Basic proficiency in using Google Sheets, Gmail, and internet browsers for day-to-day tasks.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with employees, visitors, and event attendees.
- Flexibility to work in all weather conditions and during event hours.
