Tester / Sprint Master

We require a Tester to work in a fast paced online digital / web technology environment based in Wales . This role is fantastic opportunity to be part of a team tasked with developing and implementing an e-Commerce website, Financial, Mobile and EPOS systems.,

• Be responsible for business acceptance testing of new developments.


• Assist in the preparation of user and system test plans.
  
  The right candidate will be very hands-on and able to come into the role and hit the ground running., You will be able to communicate, learn and work with stakeholders with varying skills, knowledge, and technical abilities.


• Able to collaborate within a close-knit team and other teams across the department


• Good attention to detail and a consistent approach to testing


• Clear & accurate defect reporting.


• Experience working with Agile methodologies


• Good verbal & written communication and willing to engage with product owners.


• Experience across all levels of testing such as regression, smoke, performance, security etc.,


• Experience planning, prioritising, reporting and summarising test activities


• Able to regularly review testing processes and suggest innovative improvements.


• Experience with testing tools such as JIRA, Atlassian, Browser stack etc.


• Improving test cycles by the means of automation.


• Experience with PCI / ISO27001 / GDPR standards


Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in high volume website developments.


• Good experience in software development lifecycle (Agile) through to UAT and training.


• Proven ability to read requirements and turn these into test scripts with short sprint cycles.


• The ability to recommend solutions and improve processes


• Experience in e-Commerce systems, Financial Services, Mobile platforms, EPOS and Software development.


• Have a thorough understanding of analysing and documenting complex business processes.


• Demonstrable experience reading requirements specifications for Information Systems.


• Familiarity with usability, accessibility, and compliance.


• Technical know-how in operating systems, databases, websites, and software applications.


• Setting up automated test scripts using various applications for automated reporting.
