Test Engineer

We are looking for a test engineer to Assist in general departmental testing activities, within the Hyge, Pedestrian and Structures Labs.

This will entail test scheduling, planning & execution, customer liaison, contractor liaison, data delivery, proposals & reporting and Support Management team with planning & control of test team activities
Do you have a working knowledge of relevant standards & regulations and converting them into test methodology

Understand and documenting of pre & post-test requirements - measurements, observations etc.

Can you review & verification of test data and analysed data

Use scheduling software for planning, project records, test scheduling, etc.

Assist in compiling proposals with BDM support.

Compile test reports where required

Assist with departmental procedures, Health & Safety, competency records and Continuous Improvement, inc. knowledge of UKAS 17025.

Customer liaison, including planning, test day supervision and data provision and liaise with Certification agencies, Please note due the nature of the role; the successful candidate must be able to work in the UK without restrictions and meet UK government security vetting criteria.
