Full Job Description

MIL Collections is a lively and vibrant office based in the heart of Truro, known as a progressive and positive workplace who rely on hard work.

We are searching for a confident and motivated individual to join our Specialist team. Candidates must have transferable skills to "hit the ground running".

As a member of our expanding team you will communicate via telephone to commercial and consumer customers to recover and collect outstanding arrears prior to litigation. You will be assigned as an account manager to specific cases to build rapport and maximise outcomes on a daily basis.

Training will be provided. However, successful candidates will already show the key attributes and skills to succeed. Our Training and Development manager will be on hand to praise, encourage, and guide you through your initial weeks and months at MIL Collections Ltd.

Starting Salary at £15.00 phr.

Candidate Responsibilities

  • Contact customers with outstanding arrears and negotiate payment terms and schedules.

  • Manage a portfolio of accounts.

  • Strict adherence to compliance, GDPR, and Quality Standards.

  • Work towards and exceed weekly targets.

  • Operate both independently and in a team environment.

  • Attend in house training for professional growth and personal development.

    Demonstrated skills in negotiating and resolving conflict.

  • A positive outlook when dealing with difficult conversations.

  • Drive to meet weekly and monthly sales targets.

  • Ability and confidence to liaise and give transparent and clear information.

  • Accurate data entry skills.

  • Basic level of IT skills requires.

  • Telephone experience is essential.

    £15.00Phr Starting Rate.

  • Significant opportunities to increase your hourly rate up to £25.

  • Working hours: Monday-Friday 9AM to 5:30PM. Saturday (1 in3) 9AM to 1PM.
