Full Job Description

The Technical Product Consultant will be vital to our success and to driving future growth. In this role you will take responsibility for the management of the product roadmap

You will ensure they are maximizing opportunities and delivering the products and propositions that our customers demand.

This is a highly challenging role that requires an agile and focused approach.

To succeed in this exciting role, you will need to demonstrate a successful track record gained in a leadership position in a technical product role. Ideally this will have been in a health market.

The main responsibilities of this role include:

  • Provide design and technical consulting expertise for complex, high-impact projects.

  • Communicate with stakeholders and customers to gather feedback and incorporate it into future product development.;

  • Communicate with stakeholders and customers to understand their problems and try to solve it either independently or with support (problem solver);

  • Provide consultation and support to client product leadership in their day-to-day activities and decision-making process across features.

  • Propose conceptual technical solutions and make changes based on the client's feedback in an Agile environment

  • Ensure technical requirements are clear, aligned, testable, accurate, and maintained;

  • Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories;

  • Collaborate and contribute on the creation, deployment and maintenance of technical best practices and standards.

  • Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals;

  • Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on;

  • Clearly expressing Product Backlog items;

  • Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends;

  • Ensure the development team understand items in the backlog.

    Demonstrable experience in a Business Analysis or Product Owner role;

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills;

  • Familiarity with advanced QA and test automation tools strongly preferred;

  • Strong technical background;

  • Prior expertise working with clinical data in a Healthcare

  • Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills;

  • Demonstrable knowledge of 1 or more programming languages (prior developer experience preferred);

  • MySQL;

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering or similar relevant field;

  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills;

  • Strong knowledge of application architecture.
