Technical Engineering Apprentice S2 AEROSPACE (SPE) LTD

This is an interactive apprentice, you will be wokring across all departments and will have direct involvement in multiple disciplines and departments.

Tasks to include:

• Inspections.


• Quality control.


• Visual quality.


• Assembly (fitting).


• CAD.


• Dealing with goods inwards and outwards.


• Processing, purchasing and packaging of stock.


• Working safely following the H&S requirements.
  
  After a period of foundation skills and technical knowledge development all apprentices will be required to achieve the following qualifications:


• Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Foundation Competence)


After a further period of skills and technical knowledge development all apprentices will be required to achieve the following qualifications:

• Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Competence) - Technical Support


• Level 3 Diploma or Extended Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge), Communication skills, IT skills, Attention to detail, Customer care skills, Problem solving skills, Administrative skills, Number skills, Analytical skills, Logical, Team working, Initiative, Patience, GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 4/C or above) Essential

GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade 4/C or above) Essential

You will be required to attend Somer Valley Campus in Radstock, the first year apprenticeship you will be required to attend three days per week., S2 Aerospace (SPE) Ltd was established in 1984. Our business is to supply, Manufacture and refurbish of aerospace engine tooling, Airframe tooling, and GSE. We also offer other industrial machined parts and assemblies to customers and operating models to effective standards.
