Full Job Description
As a Team Leader with Leonard Cheshire, you will become part of a fantastic team. You will provide effective supervision of a team of Support Workers, lead with passion and enthusiasm promoting positive outcomes for disabled people with a flexible and proactive approach.
You will ensure our customers receive the very best care, personal support and assistance with daily life tasks. Supporting our Person-Centred approach, you will ensure maximum independence for our customers and helping them to achieve individual aspirations.
This is a challenging yet exciting opportunity, offering you the chance to grow and develop as a member of the Leonard Cheshire team, further enhancing your already successful career as a care professional.
- Ideally have a level of professional development and registration (NVQ/SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care, L4 NVQ/SVQ) or willing to work towards a relevant qualification.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
- Have experience in supervising a team.
- Work flexibly and creatively with customers and their families.
- Be experienced in working within a care setting.
- Flexibility to work within rostered hours / prepared to participate in an on-call rota where required., Disability Confident
