Full Job Description

Job Description: As a Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in coordinating the day-to-day operations of our Ambulance Transport department. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for supervising operational staff, ensuring smooth processes, and maintaining the highest standards of patient care.,

  • Coordinate patient journeys and supervise operational staff

  • Plan shift rosters to ensure adequate coverage

  • Monitor productivity, efficiency, and crew performance

  • Communicate with stakeholders to ensure strong processes and timely communication

  • Ensure patient safety and adherence to safe working practices

  • Review patient feedback and implement improvements

  • Maintain accurate records and promote a safe working environment

  • Support, lead, and motivate staff to meet customer expectations

  • Be a part of an on-call rota

    Full driving license and clear enhanced DBS check

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Caring attitude towards patients

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Previous team leader/supervisor experience (desirable)

  • Knowledge of patient transport services (desirable)
