Working Hours
35 hours per week, 9:30am to 5:30pm but additional hours may be required. We are happy to consider agile and flexible working patterns. Role Overview
Delivering a professional administrative support service to the Alternative Delivery Solutions group.
Legal Delivery Centre UK
Supporting the LDC management team with the smooth and efficient new starter (including contractors) processes for contracts on project work, assisting with administrative queries throughout the life of the project (directly queries to the appropriate teams so that challenges are resolved quickly) and completing project closure processes at the end of projects.
Resource Management and Flexible Lawyers
Preparing Excel reports on capacity using data from our various IT systems and applications and processing invoices after checking against time recording systems, under the guidance of our Resource Manager.
Support our Head of Alternative Delivery Solutions
Producing first draft reports in Excel and PowerPoint as well as in Word for the Head of Alternative Delivery Solutions.
Providing support to the Head of Alternative Delivery Solutions, ADS Manager, LDC Manager and Senior Team Lead by arranging meetings and managing diaries.
Client Services Team
Providing administrative support, as needed, in keeping trackers and "know-how" documents up to date.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

  • High quality and accurate document production skills, adhering to the firm's house style.

  • Producing Excel reports.

  • Typing, printing, scanning and filing documents and emails.

  • Taking accurate and detailed telephone messages.

  • Accurate and regular maintenance of filing system and archiving and retrieval of files from store.

  • Use the firm's resources efficiently eg print room, global document production.

  • Build a network of strong working relationships internally.

  • Demonstrate strong organisational skills, regularly act on own initiative, highlighting issues and suggesting possible solutions.

  • Organise and prioritise workload and keep a level-headed approach in a busy working environment.

  • Ad hoc duties as and when required.

    Qualifications and Training
  • Sound knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Minimum 5 GCSEs or equivalent at A-C including English and Maths.
