Full Job Description

  • Support the teacher in preparing classroom materials.

  • Assist individual students and manage student behaviour.

  • Assess progress and provide feedback.

  • Create a positive learning environment, providing support during activities.

  • Help with administrative tasks.

  • Follow school policies and procedures.

    The Educate Group are looking for caring and experienced Graduates to work as Teaching Assistants across our busy schools in the Bridnorth area. The potential opportunity exists to progress onto our Initial Teacher training course in September to gain a PGCE and Qualified Teacher status. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, empathy and patience, supporting young people to achieve their best, plus a desire to pursue a career in Education. Initially, full time and part time roles are available making this an ideal opportunity to be flexible around any current commitments., No qualifications are required, although good standards of literacy and numeracy are needed.

  • Experience working with children or young people would be beneficial.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • The ability to manage behaviour effectively.

  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

  • Flexibility and adaptability.

  • Registrations required to be a Teaching Assistant
