Teacher of MFL

Part time, temporary (maternity leave cover) 0.6 FTE

Required for November 2024 until July 2025 approximately

Occupying a 33 acre site on the edge of Henley-on-Thames, we are a co-educational academy with approximately 900 pupils aged 11-16 on roll.

We have recently been recognised outstanding by Ofsted, who said, 'Pupils thrive because of the high-quality teaching and care they receive.'. In the last GCSE exams taken in 2023, our Progress 8 score put us in the top 10% of schools in the country. The proportion of students achieving grade 4 and above in Languages was in the top 25% of schools nationally.

The ability to offer at least one of French, German or Spanish to GCSE is essential. If your specialist language is French, the ability to offer either Spanish or German at KS3 is desirable but not essential. If your specialist language is German or Spanish, it is essential you offer a second language at KS3, preferably French
