Tax Consultant

As a Tax Consultant, you will provide a high-quality personal tax compliance service for a diverse portfolio of clients. You will ensure that personal tax compliance procedures are adhered to, whilst meeting deadlines and fostering excellent client relationships through regular communication. You will have a good working knowledge of tax compliance and tax returns, with some previous experience of working within a tax team.,

• Building strong relationships with clients through regular interaction, responding to queries, and providing high-quality personal tax compliance.


• Ensuring personal tax compliance procedures are adhered to and meet the appropriate statutory deadlines.


• Regularly communicating with HMRC both written and verbally to ensure that client tax affairs are kept up to date.


• Keeping up to date with relevant legislations and practices and advise clients and team members of any changes.
  
  Working towards or ATT qualified (desirable).


• Previous experience of working within a tax team (essential).


• Demonstratable experience in preparing tax returns (essential).


• Good working knowledge of all areas of tax compliance.


• The ability to communicate effectively whilst working within a fast-paced environment.
