This is a Hybrid working role with a requirement to attend our London Farringdon office, and other sites, with flexibility required in line with business needs.

The core purpose of the Talent Management team is to ensure we have the right people, in the right place at the right time. As an organisation of 140000 people going through transformation, we've got some really interesting work to do and complex problems to solve, and this role will be involved in programmes that will impact across the entire organisation.

Reporting into the Head of Talent Management, this role supports on the portfolio of projects aligned to the Talent agenda in line with the organisation's strategic direction, working in conjunction with the HR community to drive the delivery of key workstreams.

About the role
You will proactively support the Head of Talent Management, Director of Talent and broader business to deliver key projects and initiatives across the Talent portfolio, including, but not limited to, organisation wide talent reviews, succession planning, internal mobility initiatives including identification of career pathways, talent identification and assessment.

You will project manage the delivery of a range of talent workstreams whilst acting as subject matter expert, advising and supporting the business across key functions of Talent Management.

You will provide high quality, talent analytics and generate insights to inform and evaluate talent programmes as well as the overall talent management and broader people strategy, including supporting the production of Board level reporting.

You'll drive engagement and build strong working relationships with local HR business partners and senior leaders to embed a culture that supports internal mobility throughout the organisation.

You will assist with succession planning activities and link career paths and development activities (working closely with the recruitment team, learning academy and management and leadership development team) to succession planning to ensure we are maximising the potential of our people, providing fulfilling careers and establishing robust talent pipelines.,

  • Experience in HR or Talent, delivering a range of talent focussed activities, in particular that support internal mobility, talent reviews, career pathways, assessment and succession planning (knowledge of, rather than experience in, all of these areas is required, development will be provided in areas of less experience).

  • Experience with large, complex matrix organisations, either coming from working 'inhouse' or as a consultant

  • Experience delivering projects focused on change or implementing new initiatives

    Starting salary £45,043, increasing to £48,680 after 12 months
    Annual bonus potential, company pension scheme with highly competitive contribution rates, generous annual leave offering of 25 days, plus bank holidays, increasing to 27.5 days after 10 years service
