Swim Teacher

Ewing Swimming Academy (ESA) is seeking a passionate Swim Instructor to join our team at our venue in Ascot. As a Swim Instructor, you will play a vital role in teaching individuals of all ages how to swim and improve their water safety skills.

Hours Available: (Starting September 2024):

• Wednesdays: 4pm - 6:30pm


• Thursdays: 4pm - 6:30pm


• Fridays: 4pm - 6:30pm


• Saturdays: 9am - 2:30pm


Duties:

• Educate and instruct students on proper swimming techniques and water safety.


• Plan and deliver engaging swim lessons tailored to the needs of each individual or group.


• Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their swimming abilities.


• Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all participants.


• Organise and supervise swimming activities and games.


• Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
  
  Qualified Swim Instructor with recognised certifications such as Swim England Level 2 Teaching Swimming or equivalent.


• Previous experience in sports coaching or teaching swimming lessons is desirable.


• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with students of all ages.


• Knowledge of water safety practices and emergency procedures.


• Enhanced DBS within the past 3 years.


• Insurance with either IOS or STA.


• Passion for swimming and helping others learn new skills.


• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
