Full Job Description

The Debt Capital Markets (DCM) Origination team are product specialists responsible for winning debt capital market business and providing expertise to frequent and prospective issuers in partnership with Rates Trading and the Institutional Client Group.
The DCM SSA Origination team is seeking a Vice President to be based in London to work within the team in the origination of new issue debt products and risk management offerings in the SSA sector. You will be expected to take ownership for a number of clients in the team's portfolio and supporting teams based in London and Frankfurt. You will also work closely with senior coverage professionals to support their ongoing coverage of key franchise clients and currencies.

Providing DCM expertise to SSA clients and origination of primary market debt transactions Interaction with all areas of Deutsche Bank, including Debt Syndicate, Rates Trading, in addition to infrastructure areas including Legal and Compliance Experience in originating, marketing, and executing capital market offerings with clients in this sector Function as the lead on a number of client relationships and the role is likely to require travel including overseas Your skills and experience Exceptional skills using Bloomberg, Excel, and an array of conventional DCM market data sources to efficiently analyse information and prepare high quality content for issuers The ability and willingness to work as an integral team member, managing time efficiently Confidence questioning the status quo and existing processes, coupled with the ability to design and implement high quality solutions and idea generation Strong awareness of the macro-environment and political developments, with prior
