Support Worker Supported Living

Providing support to service users as identified within their person-centred support plan
- Undertake domestic and cleaning duties in the home whilst supporting service users' independence.
- Supporting service users with all activities of daily living and personal care, including personal hygiene needs, nutrition, mobility and any other activity identified
- Undertake and support service users with shopping and cooking
- Pro-actively support service users to engage with community activities and therapeutic interventions to improve their health and well-being and reduce social isolation
- Provide practical assistance and guidance in developing life skills, such as cooking, shopping and cleaning

We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our Supported Living Service in providing assistance and care to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have experience of working with people who require care and/or support, however a strong desire to care and support others is also acceptable., GCSE or Level 2 Functional Skills in English and Maths
- Level 2 Health & Social Care or willingness and ability to work towards a H&SC Level 2 qualification
- Strong negotiation skills to advocate for clients' needs effectively
- Compassionate and patient demeanour when working with vulnerable individuals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
