We have an opportunity for a caring and compassionate person to join our Care Services Westmorland and Furness team at Riverside House as a Support Worker (Carer Care Worker Care Assistant) providing support and care within our Residential Care Services.

About Residential Care
Help older adults live their life how they choose and enjoy their later years. Support people to stay active and healthy by encouraging good nutrition and promoting fitness and mobility as well as supporting emotional wellness., As a Support Worker (Carer Care Worker Care Assistant) you will get the opportunity to know people individually and support their wellbeing through physical and emotional care. You may also assist with medication providing personal care and encouraging our people to achieve or maintain independence., If you are invited to a virtual interview this will preferably be undertaken using the Microsoft Teams software which is currently free for new users however if there are any issues with accessing this technology we are happy to discuss alternative arrangements prior to the interviews.

A market supplement is currently being applied to all night and weekend (Saturday and Sunday) shifts, uplifting your hourly rate in these periods to approx. £16.46. This will replace any previous market supplements and will apply to both your contracted hours and to any additional hours worked within the applicable time periods., No experience or qualifications are needed to get started. We will help and support you with fully paid training and development - we are looking for the right people with the right qualities. About Our Home
Riverside House is based in Kendal, and we have the capacity to support up to 34 residents, providing care, security, and companionship for those with Dementia, old age and the physically frail.

Working within our Residential Care Service will typically involve working shifts which usually cover between 7am until 10pm (days) or 9.30pm - 7.30am (nights) over 7 days 365 day a year - this will include alternate weekends (as part of a set rota) and Bank Holidays.
