Full Job Description

At Aspens we work across Kent and Sussex; supporting individuals with autistic spectrum conditions, learning disabilities and physical disabilities.

PLEASE NOTE: Residential service- we do not offer staff accommodation.

Falconer's Court is a residential service, home to 7 adult females with autism spectrum conditions and other learning and physical disabilities.
Many of those we support have limited verbal communication skills and can occasionally display behaviours of concern.

On the other hand, the home is full of lots of energy. To match this, we are looking for a friendly, energetic and hard-working person, who has a fun spirit and a passion for supporting others to join our fantastic staff team.

Your role as a support worker will be vital in helping those that we support to feel empowered to live as independently as possible. You will play a big role in supporting daily activities which could include: baking, arts and crafts, swimming and bowling.

You'll also be responsible for carrying out the person-centred support plans (including personal care) and following risk assessments, administering medication and completing daily reports to ensure those we care for are safeguarded while living their best life., Any offer is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring check, which we will complete on your behalf if you don't already have one, and satisfactory employment references. We will consider job share and part time arrangements for all posts in line with the needs of the Charity.

We are looking for friendly, hard-working people with a fun spirit and a good sense of humour to join our team of support staff.
