If this sounds like you then United Response wants to hear from you! We are currently recruiting for Support Workers to join a supported living service in Newmarket, supporting 3 young adults with a mix of disabilities but united by a love for life and getting out and about.

Here at United Response we are driven by our mission to provide person-centred support and as such you will have a varied role which will involve having a positive and creative approach to support work.

As a Support Worker you will be responsible for:

  • Providing active support

  • Assisting with health and well-being

  • Supporting with chores and cooking

  • Accompanying on leisure activities such as cooking classes and sailing

  • Promoting independence with the people we support

  • Personal care

  • Taking an active interest in the people you will support


  • To be a successful Support Worker you must firstly be passionate about supporting people with disabilities and share our values of being united, responsive, creative, honest and strong. You should be a patient and resilient individual who is willing to invest time in getting to know the people we support and understand what care best supports their needs., Growing, maintaining and promoting a diverse team is a top priority for us.
