Full Job Description

Our Multi Supported Living Services in Huddersfield are homes to genetlemen with Learning Disabilities. They enjoy going into the community and the town shopping, they enjoy walking around the countryside. They love talking and watching football and espeically their football team, Huddersfield Town AFC.

We require caring and considerate people to support these young adults to enjoy each day to the full. Also Someone who loves football especially Huddersfield Town AFC will be an advantage.

The role may include manual handling, medication administration, personal care, food preparation, household tasks, supporting individuals to stay connected with family and friends, accessing the community, and attending appointments. We provide support for daily living skills and help support with socialisation.

We recognise each person as an individual and provide a unique service which is person centred and tailored to their needs. The role is to promote the individual's independence, choice, dignity, and respect by delivering the best standards of support.

Various shifts discussed at interview, alternate weekends and including occasional sleeps

Ideally the successful person would have a qualification in health and social care (but this is not essential) or will have worked either in supported living settings and / or with individuals with Learning Disabilities.

We care for a range of service users including the elderly and for people with physical and/or learning disabilities. Tailored to meet our service user's individual needs, our care ranges from brief daily visits to 24-hour live-in care and can either be short or long-term.
