Full Job Description

Being a support worker is immensely fulfilling. Unlike many professions, you will leave work each day knowing you have played a vital role in helping someone achieve something meaningful.

Dimensions is seeking ambitious, caring, resilient, and friendly Support Workers to join our team in Bar Hill. You will be supporting three gentlemen with diverse needs, including learning disabilities, autism and dementia.

As a Support Worker, you will assist these gentlemen, aged 60-80, in living the lives they desire, ensuring they have autonomy and control over their support. No two days will be alike; you will experience variety and provide support in the following areas:

  • Facilitating social activities such as visiting landmarks like the London Eye, attending car boot sales, enjoying local walks, and planning holidays.

  • Assisting with day-to-day travel arrangements and holiday planning.

  • Supporting individuals in managing their finances independently.

  • Providing guidance, support, and teaching in household chores, including cleaning and laundry.

  • Assisting with personal and intimate care as needed.

  • Above all, you will share in the joy of creating meaningful experiences and fostering a sense of fun and fulfilment.

No prior experience in health and social care is needed. Dimensions offers paid training and opportunities for career advancement, including funded accredited courses like the Care Certificate.

Join us and enjoy benefits such as:

  • Free DBS check

  • Access to salary advances

  • Blue Light Card rewards

  • Generous annual leave entitlement, rising with service.

  • Referral bonus scheme

  • Paid training with financial incentives

  • Support for Care Certificate completion.

  • Colleague benefits scheme for shopping and leisure discounts.
