Full Job Description

You will work as part of a team on a rota basis, and must be able to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends and public holidays.

As a Support Worker you can expect to:

  • Encourage the people we support to get out into the community

  • Assist with cooking and cleaning

  • Help with personal care

  • Take an active interest in the people we support


  • To be a successful Support Worker you must firstly be passionate about supporting people with disabilities and share our values of being united, responsive, creative, honest and strong. You should be a patient and resilient individual who is willing to invest time in getting to know the people we support and understand what care best supports their needs. For this role you will need to have had previous experience within the sector.

    We are looking for enthusiastic, experienced and active support worker with previous experience to work with an active young man with autism living in his own home. The gentleman we support is very active, and likes to go for long walks, so you must be able to do this. You will need experience of working with people with autism who have complex needs.Having a full clean UK driving licence would be an advantage.
