Full Job Description

  • The Supply Chain & Warehousing Team are looking to recruit a Supply Chain Manager to join the team.

  • The Supply Chain Manager plays an integral role in ensuring the smooth operation of supply chain activities, from aligning with the procurement dept and suppliers to delivery at point of storage. This position involves overseeing the logistics of supply chain management to optimize efficiency and availability, while also maintaining cost-effectiveness. By coordinating with suppliers, manufacturers, refurbishers and the transport & Customs dept, the Supply Chain Manager ensures that the right components are available to enable on time delivery to strict deadlines. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring that all elements of the supply chain work together seamlessly. Through effective communication and strategic planning, the Supply Chain Manager supports the overall goals of the organisation by maintaining a steady flow of components and related materials, to meet the business objectives

    Supply Chain Strategy
  • Work alongside the Supply Chain & Warehousing Lead & Central Warehousing Project Manager to develop & implement a centralised supply chain strategy.

  • Develop and Implement centralised supply chain processes. Develop & maintain KPI's



  • Demand Planning & Forecasting
  • Utilise software (SAP MM) and tools to analyse supply chain operations, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements for efficiency gains.

  • Coordinate with Procurement Category Managers, Engineering Category Managers, and Warehousing Managers, to forecast demand and ensure the availability of components to meet the customer needs without overstocking.

  • Inventory Management:

  • Implement and oversee inventory management practices to ensure optimal stock levels.

  • Creation of purchase requisitions in line with demand. Ensure all shipments from the suppliers are on schedule to reduce operational impact.



  • Master Data Governance:
  • Identify and ensure correct material data is received from the supplier.

  • Assist with master data governance requests for the creation of material masters within SAP MM. Maintain Customs related data requirements to ensure customs compliance for import/export of components and related materials.



  • Relationship
  • Maintain a strong relationship with the Transport & Customs Manager whilst ensuring availability of components for the timely and cost effective transportation of goods.

  • Maintain strong relationship with central procurement to increase operational effectiveness. Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and 3rd party service providers to maximise availability.



  • 5 years' experience of Supply Chain Coordination in a multi stakeholder, complex organisational and operational environment.

  • High Level of experience using SAP Material Management Module.

  • Excellent presentation skills.

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills

  • Excellent organisational, time management and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency MS software and tools.

  • , Professional qualification in Supply Chain Management, commercial law, or international trade preferable.

  • Contract Management experience preferable. Offshore or onshore wind industry background preferable.
