Kenny Waste Management is delighted to announce that we are recruiting a new Supply Chain Coordinator to join our growing and exciting Waste Management Team based from our head office in Little Hulton.

The successful candidate will be responsible for improving the productivity, quality and efficiency of all elements of the National Division's supply chain to increase profitably whilst maintaining a competitive edge with the company's offer versus the competition. Responsible to review the Company's entire subcontract database under the leadership from the Supply Chain Manager.

Main Duties:

  • To support the Supply Chain Manager in reviewing all existing Waste Partner relationships/agreements in the National Division to identify key areas for improvements in quality, efficiency and price

  • To identify and propose new Waste Partner to Supply Chain Manager

  • To monitor the national quotations pipeline to select the correct Waste Partner and provide all the cost pricing for the skip sizes and waste streams required for the Sales team to provide a quotation. Focus on quick turnaround for pricing these opportunities to manage and maintain our competitive edge to help Kenny Waste Management win new business

  • Review all current pricing structures, and update and maintain all company Waste Partner IT database platforms

  • Conduct desktop supplier audits

  • Monitor overall supplier performance to assess ability to make sure they meet set targets

  • Liaise with Waste Partners to discuss performance metrics, to provide performance feedback, or to discuss production forecasts or changes

  • Assist the Supply Chain Manager in planning and implementing price increase negotiations

  • Record and monitor pricing models, rebates etc. around the working relationship i.e. enhance the service level agreement between Kenny Waste Management and our Waste Partners

  • Alongside the Supply Chain Manager, identify the waste partners who are not providing the appropriate waste reporting data, and implement a strategy to gather the required data

  • Identify and implement processes to help the National Division maintain and improve its pricing opportunities, including recommendations for speeding up its ability to quote customers

  • Make recommendations to minimise wastage in the supply chain such as ordering/delivery of incorrect services and wasted journeys etc. and sure these are communicated and approved with our waste partners/customers

  • Identify and make recommendations which can add value and increase profitability for the business

  • Developing new suppliers following company guidelines and forms i.e. PQQ & SLA.

  • Build relationships with key suppliers

    Previous experience in supply chain coordination

  • Good communicator
