Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clerk of Works to join the University's Capital Projects Team which carries responsibility for the delivery of construction projects ranging from £50k to £50m plus., You will be responsible for the inspection of works carried out as part of a substantial development and refurbishment programme. You will assist in the design stages, attend design team meetings as requested, attend pre-start and progress meetings as requested, oversee the construction process to ensure quality levels are met, manage completion and occupation to defined timescales.

Working as part of a successful, highly motivated and professional team within a new 'Campus Development' directorate, you will be able to contribute to the development of the University at a time of major opportunity.
