Full Job Description

Join us for a Summer/Year Out Placement in our Leicester office, where you'll be given interesting and complex design work, with full support from the team around you. We have two positions available - one in our Highways/Infrastructure team and one in our Hydraulic Modelling team.

From day one, you'll be working on real projects, giving you understanding of the wide variety of our work and opportunities. From high-profile national projects as part of a large design team, to smaller projects you'll gain experience of designing, surveying, and inspection of construction. Our projects span the full breadth of the built environment, providing opportunity to enhance your technical skills and explore your own skills and interests. Working across the public and private sector, our recent projects include work on the Parliamentary Estate, Cairngorm Funicular and the UK's first subsea cable factory - see more of the projects you could be part of here: Discover our projects - Pick Everard

Your team will support you in taking ownership of your project work, sharing knowledge and providing support as you take on responsibility. In an employee focused environment, you'll be encouraged to share your thoughts and ideas, and you'll learn and collaborate together, creating holistic designs that make a meaningful impact on the built environment.
