Suki Cafe Coffee Shop Manager

Oversee all aspects of cafe operations, including food preparation, service, and cleanliness
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales and profitability
- Train and supervise cafe staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers
- Monitor baking process and make adjustments as necessary
- Decorate baked goods with icing, glazes, or other toppings
- Create work schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet customer demand
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized cafe environment, adhering to food safety regulations
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to develop new menu items and specials
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards

Candidates require to have relevant experience in similar roles where they have had to work under pressure to achieve a quality product. Our ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' baking experience speaking Cantonese or Mandarin, and is willing to relocate to Exeter before the end of July. A couple will be considered if the other one has some front of house experience and skills., Cooking skills in a professional bakery setting
- Knowledge of baking techniques and principles
- Knowledge of bakery management skills like production planning and demand forecast, raw materials and ingredients supply
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Knowledge of food production techniques and food safety regulations
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive dining experience
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

The shop will be proficient at serving high-quality coffee and delicious French pastries.
