Subject Leader of Music

We are looking to appoint an inspirational teacher with the vision and talent to lead our Music department. This vacancy will be particularly attractive to a successful teacher seeking increased responsibility and a new challenge. Your role will be to promote a love of music, to increase participation and enhance progress.

We are looking for someone to develop Music at all key stages, build upon the traditions of GCSE Music already in place and to contribute to an established and vibrant A Level programme.

We value the role that Music plays in the extra-curricular life of the School and are seeking a dynamic musician with a willingness to develop the range of extra-curricular music activities to inspire and engage all our students as part of our Brighter Futures programme as well as our School productions.

The Music department forms part of the PE and Performing Arts faculty alongside PE, Dance and Drama. The Department has excellent facilities including a spacious music room, practice rooms, dance and drama studios, as well as outstanding sports facilities.
