Full Job Description

We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Student Services Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent service to our students, committed to supporting their academic journey, and adept at managing a team to achieve departmental goals. CNM is currently looking for a productive and enthusiastic individual to provide effective and efficient administrative management in a busy and dynamic environment in the Student Services Department.

Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

  • Lead and manage the Student Services department, including overseeing junior staff members and ensuring the delivery of exceptional service to our students

  • Recruitment, training and development of team members

  • Develop and update policies and procedures as needed to enhance the student experience and support student success.

  • Implement strategies to improve follow-up and monitoring of students, including regular check-ins to assess progress and provide support when needed

  • Assist in the establishment and training of new Directors of Studies (DoS) to ensure they are confident in our procedures and equipped to provide outstanding service to students in conjunction with the Operations Manager.

  • Support the training and development of new Course Consultants to facilitate smooth enrolment processes and ensure accurate completion of forms and scheduling

  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to troubleshoot problematic areas and streamline logistics for new developments, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the organisation.

    Proven experience in a leadership role within an educational institution or similar setting

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures to improve student services

  • Knowledge of the education sector and understanding of student needs and challenges

  • Experience with student management systems and online learning platforms, experience with Moodle would be an advantage
