As a Strategy Manager your main responsibilities will be:
+ Coordinating the work of enforcement partners so that it fits into the strategic aims of the programme. This will include providing input into relevant strategies, leading a working group focused on enforcement, supporting, or leading on correspondence, Parliamentary Questions and Freedom of Information Requests.
+ Managing strategic policy projects and project teams, including external contributors as part of the work programme.
+ Providing strategic analysis, problem solving and examine evidence in support of policy development.
+ Breaking down policy problems into clear project work strands. Identify policy options and solutions and engage with staff across the board to test and validate emerging findings and options.
+ Supporting colleagues in using problem analysis methodologies and strategic tools to inform policy making.
+ There will be a requirement to provide updates to the programme board through briefings and maintaining dashboards linked to the workstream. There will be smaller projects that the candidate will be required as part of their role involving close collaboration with other organisations and the development of an approach to tackling key issues.
You'll have:
+ Strategy experience
+ Government/Public Sector experience
+ Project/Programme Management experience
+ MS Office experience
Desirable:
+ Enforcement background
+ Covid-19 experience
