We are seeking an entry level or early career operator with a demonstrable interest in (bio)technology to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective growth of our company.

We expect that you have a bias for action, an enthusiasm for managing complex problems and an early career track record that demonstrates high agency.

What you'll do

Carry a message to Garcia.

Provide support to the leadership team in advancing varied, business-critical initiatives throughout the organisation.

Develop, implement and improve operational processes to enhance overall efficiency and streamline workflows.

Monitor and enable company-wide OKRs and/or KPIs to drive improved performance.

Create clear and logical presentation materials and deliver timely work-in-progress updates.

Manage meetings for the leadership team, ensuring materials are distributed in advance, time is utilised effectively, and objectives are met or followed up.

Ensure high-quality internal company documentation is well-organised and effectively supports a culture of strong written communication within a distributed team.

More generally, this person should be open to leading various cross-functional projects that are critical to the success of the company and cannot be delivered solely by the leadership team. These projects may involve growing the team, internal process improvements, data management, business operations, and much more.

After joining this role is open to tailoring by a successful candidate that shows agency and a good sense of where their talents can support the growth of the business., We primarily work remotely with a strong emphasis on efficient processes to ensure high-quality work. However, we recognise the importance of sharing knowledge and building relationships with one another and find this easier to do when we spend time together in-person in Oxford or London. Therefore, we host regular team days at each of these locations. This role will work closely with the leadership team and may meet with those team members in person with regularity.

    GTL is a seed stage startup developing deep learning algorithms for image analysis to revolutionise precision medicine. GTL received a sizable seed stage investment from leading early stage investors in 2023. We grew from scratch to a team of 10 people, delivering commercial projects to some of the largest pharma and biotech companies in the world in less than a year.     Salary band

    This role offers a salary range of £32k - £50k (on the basis of applicant ability) plus generous equity., This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing startup and make a real impact in the field of precision medicine and AI.
