Storesperson | Porton Down

You will ensure the store is a safe, clean and efficient store operating environment, including material identification, location, access, handling, security and storage.

The key responsibilities will be to:
Provide an efficient and timely stores management service
Assist in the effective management of the stock inventory
Ensure items received are as per specification and order
Receive and put away stock items
Resolve discrepancies on receipted items and raise items that do not meet specified criteria
Perform all necessary stock checks
Support disposal of redundant and scrap materials
Ensure compliance with statutory and company procedures
Undertake appropriate risk assessments

It is essential you are familiar or have experience to stores environments.

Good communication skills.

Strong numeracy skills.

A full UK Driving License.

You must be a British National to be considered for this role.

Here at VIVO we are looking for a Storesperson to be based at Salisbury, travelling between DSTL Porton Down and Portsdown West in Gosport (PO12 2DL).

As part of the operational support team, you will be providing a comprehensive stock management service, by procuring goods, goods receipt, stock checking and issuing and returning stock.
