Full Job Description

Working in the stores department, communicating, and supporting the overall manufacturing function, you will liaise internally with Sales, Quality and Assembly teams along with Engineers and Directors. Stores is the hub between all departments and of course, the final part of the process handling the products at full value. There are 1000's of parts/products to become familiar with. There are department and personal targets to meet, full training will be given. You will:

  • with great care and attention to detail, pick, pack, and despatch the quality products to ensure safe arrival to all our valued customers.

  • organise despatch and respond to queries with carriers.

  • assist with the stock management, ensuring accurate stock location and stock level, investigation and problem solving along the way.

  • accurately count parts and prepare kits of parts for the assembly teams.

  • receive and process goods in from suppliers, processing products/parts made internally, using the stock management system.

    Are you an experienced Stores/Warehouse Operative, enjoy problem solving, used to a busy working environment, and like being part of a hardworking team?   • Experience of handling small and/or fragile products or components preferable

  • Minimum GCSE level (or equivalent) in English and Maths

  • To have proficient level of written and spoken English

  • Able to accurately count parts and carry out basic maths calculations

  • To be organised and able to work tidily

  • Ability to work to targets (following training and time to learn) retaining accuracy and high output

  • Capable of being on your feet for a substantial portion of the working day

  • The ability to handle/lift boxes/containers weighing up to 20kg and climb a ladder

  • To be able to manoeuvre a pallet pump truck, whilst adhering to health & safety rules

    Compensation & Benefits:
  • Permanent role, Monday to Friday (Full time - 39 hrs)
