Full Job Description

Maintain a calm demeanour during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep the café operating to standard

Execute café operations during scheduled shifts. Organise opening and closing duties as assigned

To manage all the ingredients and maintain the integrity of the product in line with the company standards

To have a thorough understanding of kitchen and café operations

To be responsible for all aspects of "health and safety" and "food safety" in accordance with the law and the company standards

To be responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of all back and front of house areas and storage

To support on-going training and development of team members.

To motivate and lead the team to promote great teamwork to ensure the café has a lively and positive atmosphere

Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality

Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays

Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and exceptional customer and store safety

Engage with and understand our customers, including discovering and responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication

Prepare beverages to standard recipes

Ability to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift

Must be 18 years old or over

Must be available full time and able to work flexible hours, particularly evenings and weekends

Ability to learn quickly

Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions

Ability to direct the work of others

Knowledge of food/beverage and retail environment

Ability to work as part of a team

Ability to build relationships
