Full Job Description

  • The recruitment, training, and development of all colleagues.

  • Take accountability for shrinkage.

  • Administration of Maxtime, responding to emails & other basic admin.

  • Publishing Rota's two weeks in advance & authorising holidays within adequate time.

  • Ensuring you and others adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.

  • Ensuring your store is H&S compliant.

  • Take responsibility for reporting and chasing up any IT, H&S or maintenance issues.

  • Ensuring the front and back of house is clean and tidy at all times.

  • Cash and banking - completing in a timely manner whilst adhering to policies and procedures.

  • Create a positive working environment for colleagues.

  • Create a positive experience for all customers.

  • Supporting and managing sales assistants to assist customers efficiently and politely.

  • Assisting and managing sales assistants to ensure they are productive in the warehouse whilst maintaining cleanliness.

  • Handling feedback, queries, and complaints from customers in a timely and professional manner.

  • Policing visual merchandising and replenishment standards.

  • Adhering to, and ensuring others adhere to loss prevention policies and procedures.

  • Developing Assistant Managers and Supervisors and supporting their growth within OneBeyond.

  • Communicating effectively with Area Manager and other areas of the business to ensure the smooth operation of your store and prevent potential issues.

  • Ensure the compliance of right to work.

    Patience and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.

  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to maintain a customer-focused environment.

  • Ability to collaborate with different people and as part of a team.

  • Communication skills, including written and verbal communication.

  • Leadership skills to motivate the team of Assistant Managers, Supervisors and Sales Assistants to drive results.

  • Commitment to continuous learning and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
