Full Job Description

As the Stock and Returns Supervisor, you will be responsible for the accurate upkeep and inventory management of the stock file of all the brands within the distribution centre (Waltham Abbey)

Oversee the inventory management of 3PL storage facilities ensuring DC demand is fulfilled in line with the requirements. Work closely with the Warehouse Manager to set manageable stock levels within the constraints of the DC and to assure supply to all customer requirements

Analyses daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages.

Ensuring that all perpetual inventory cycles are managed and monitored. Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments. Conduct Year/Month end stock counts in line with guidelines at the DC and outside storage facilities

Ensure that stock held within the warehouse is labelled, clearly identifiable and stored properly and securely where appropriate, optimizing the layout and storage of all goods on-site to ensure optimum pick efficiency

New product introduction management, set up all item measurements, put away priorities and locations for all new and returning products

Develop and maintain metrics/KPIs, reports. Create policies and procedures for warehouse activities and ensure all systems meet the standards for accreditation in line with the quality systems. Process documentation creation and update.

Oversee entire returns process, ensure compliance with established procedures and maintain effective internal control over the physical product flow

Liaise directly with suppliers and manufacturers via phone and email regarding faulty and damaged items, facilitate recouping money to the business through gaining supplier credit and maintaining company logs on the internal drive

Ensure all daily practical tasks and internal reporting activities are completed on time - including logging all faulty and damaged products on the vendor Logs, including recording cost-pricing

Maintain health and safety standards of the team in line with company procedures and legal requirements

Responsible for the management of 4 stock and returns controllers in the local branch, establish their performance goals and assess progress on a regular basis, 1. To be responsible for your own health and safety and that of your colleagues, in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act (1974) and relevant legislation, including reporting any health and safety hazard immediately you become aware of it.

2. To work in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations and Data Protection Act 2018.
