Full Job Description

As a Stock Controller - Refurb Centre, you will be required to live within a 1-hour commute of our refurb centre in Enderby, Leicester and regular travel across the midlands to our other sites is required. The Stock Controller - Refurb Centre will be responsible for organising and maintaining the refurbishment centres stock control whilst ensuring stock is traceable, batched and segregated. You'll ensure JIT replenishment of stock to avoid overstocking and stock outs, work closely with vendors to ensure a harmonious relationship and the ability pull deliveries forward, work with our Hauliers to make sure deliveries go out on time ensure all stock and site packs are picked and all data integrity on the system is maintained as work specs change.,

  • Perform stock control and inventory management

  • Deliver perpetual stock counts on a rolling basis

  • Ensure materials are batched and issued with full traceability

  • Flag any quality issues

  • Raise supplier issues and price increases to management to review

  • Assist with the audit and review of the refurbishment stock control process

  • Participate in investigations relating to materials and bought in service faults and defects

  • Participate in performance excellence continuous improvement activities

  • Monitoring the intercom ensuring deliveries are accepted on site

  • Ensure vehicles are unloaded in a safe manner

  • Essential:

  • A full driving licence that permits you to drive in the UK

  • Forklift truck licence

  • Grade C/4 or above STEM GCSE's

  • Significant stock control experience

  • Experience of procurement systems


  • Desirable:

  • Engineering level 2 qualification or an equivalent recognised apprenticeship

  • Inventory management experience

  • Experience of switchgear assets

  • Experience assessing quality in the use of spare parts

  • Experience of SAP, S4 or Coupa

  • Experience gained from a stores, operational or maintenance environment

  • Competitive salary of £30,000 per annum dependent on capability

  • Paid Overtime

  • Performance based bonus

  • 37 Hours per week 06:45 - 15:15 Monday to Thursday & 06:45 - 11:45 Friday
