Full Job Description

  • Drive long wheel-based vans to move motorcycles between and within 4th Dimension locations.

  • Utilize the Location App to accurately place motorcycles at designated spots during transfers.

  • Operate a Fork Lift Truck (FLT) to move motorcycles on and off skates and delivery vans as needed.

  • Collaborate with the Stock Manager, Stock Control Team Leader, and team members to ensure efficient motorcycle flow.

  • Maintain accuracy in recording and reporting motorcycle movements within the system.

  • Conduct motorcycle movements with care, reporting any damage promptly to the line manager.

  • Inspect motorcycles for damage or irregularities before and after transport, reporting issues immediately.

  • Follow company policies and procedures related to motorcycle handling, transportation, and safety.

  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure clear and precise instructions are followed.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the van and around loading/unloading areas.

    As a Stock Control Driver, you will be instrumental in transporting motorcycles between and within our sites. You will drive long wheel-based vans, use the Location App for precise motorcycle placement, and operate a Fork Lift Truck (FLT) when necessary. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines and maintain high standards., Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

  • Previous experience driving long wheel-based vans or similar vehicles is preferred.

  • Fork Lift Truck (FLT) certification or willingness to obtain certification.

  • Proficiency in using smartphone apps and basic digital tools.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in motorcycle placement and documentation.

  • Physical ability to lift and move motorcycles using appropriate equipment.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  • Ability to work well both independently and within a team.

  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to changing situations.

  • Good communication skills to interact with team members.
