Full Job Description

This is an opportunity as a Paediatric Nurse in Children Outpatients, to be responsible and accountable for the provision of high quality care to all patients who attend the department.

This fixed term contract for one year, will encompass flexible working within the outpatient department including across site where required.

The post holder will be responsible for setting a high standard of clinical practice, will manage operational issues on a daily basis, and work collaboratively with all members of the wider patient services and clinical team, Registered nurse, part time, fixed term band 5. Epsom OPD

This is an opportunity for a Paediatric Nurse in Children Outpatients, to be responsible and accountable for the provision of high quality care to all patients who attend the department.
This fixed term contract for one year, that encompasses flexible working within the outpatient department. The post holder will be responsible for setting a high standard of clinical practice and working collaboratively with all members of the wider patient services and clinical teams., DBS: We are committed to safeguarding children and adults who are at risk of abuse. However, all employees have a responsibility for safeguarding children and vulnerable adults in the course of their duties and for ensuring that they are aware of the specific duties relating to their role.

  • Registered Nurse Children with evidence of regular updating, Evidence of working in childrens outpatients or Managing patient flow, Awareness of nursing research / clinical audit

  • Appropriate qualifications/ relevant specialist courses


  • Desirable criteria

  • Teaching certificate, I.T literate, Ability to work across site, Over 6 months qualified registered childrens nurse, Previous experience in an outpatients setting.

  • Minimum 12 months post registration experience, You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
