Full Job Description

The Sponsorship Sales Team Manager role:

  • Leading a small but growing team

  • Acting as a Player-Manager, carrying a personal target

  • Driving new sponsorship revenue across a growing portfolio of events

  • Delivering independent research to identify potential sponsors

  • Developing and maintaining a database of existing and potential sponsors

  • Managing the entire sales cycle, from prospecting through to close

  • Performing key account management

  • Deepening client relationships

  • Reviewing, forecasting, and reporting on pipeline

  • Targeting enterprise accounts

    Degree-educated a passion for sales

  • 4+ years B2B sales experience (media or sponsorship preferred)

  • Previous sales leadership/management experience

  • Longevity and stability in the previous position

  • A record of sales achievement

  • Intelligent and articulate candidates

  • Structured approach and solid time management

  • High levels of motivation

  • Commercially minded with business acumen

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • A mature outlook and strong commercial awareness
