Full Job Description

To provide learning and care support for pupils with special educational needs (SEN). This will involve working with the teacher to plan and deliver activities and supporting pupils with routines, transitions and behaviour management.

Experience of working with pupils with SEN would be an advantage but not essential., Now is an exciting time to join our fabulous school as we expand in order to meet the growing demand for specialist ASD special school places in Thanet. We specialise in providing both day and residential education for pupils aged 4 to 19 years who have a diagnosis of ASD and complex learning needs.

    Salary: Kent Range 5 plus SEN allowance

  • Full Time Hours: 37.00 per week 5 days a week 8.50-5pm Mon,Weds & Thurs, Tues 8.55-5pm, 8.50-3.45pm Fri
    (Optional 32.5hours per week)
    Contract type: Permanent, Term Time only
    Reporting to: Class teacher
