Full Job Description

The Special Events Executive plays a pivotal role within the business, acting as one of the primary points of contact for both new and existing clients. Our host will take great care in ensuring that when guests arrive at the hotel they are greeted, movements co-ordinated, and needs and requests anticipated.

The host will be based throughout the hotel, mainly on the ground floor. For private events the host will be the main point of contact for all operations and will coordinate movements between all other departments to ensure the smooth running of all events and our general daily activities within the hotel. The role will involve working closely with our sales and reservations team who will require assistance with event enquiries during peak times.

We're looking for someone who is naturally confident and highly driven, with exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will have previous experience of working in a hotel or events venue in a customer facing role, preferably with operational experience. This is a varied role where no one day will be the same, a role that will require plenty of energy and motivation and will require someone who can work across many departments.
