Sous Chef

We are currently recruiting for a Sous Chef to join our team at one of our sites in Kingston upon Hull, HU3.
Wilson Vale is an established, quality-led contract caterer. We work with amazing clients across the UK who place huge value on great food as a key part of their culture and community. We work in office restaurants, independent schools and at conference venues with the same high-end ethos throughout.
We are looking for a positive, honest and reliable employee to join our friendly and hardworking team. We can offer good training and prospects within our team for the right candidate.
Working Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm, 40 hours per week. Evening work may be required during term time. This vacancy is a 52 week contract.

+ Be responsible for the daily operation of the kitchen and the preparation and cooking of all types of dishes.
+ Be responsible, dedicated and a strong leader with the ability to manage a brigade of talented chefs.
+ Be able to train and develop your team supportively and professionally.

+ Deliver consistent food standards following the Wilson Vale brand standards.
+ Deliver fresh, seasonal and innovative food from around the world.
+ Be able to interact and engage with people while the food is being served.
