Solution Architect - Commercial Insurance / IWR

We are Insurance and Life Insurance subject matter expert and advice provision and understand the insurance business from an end to end perspective - relevant lines of business, insurance products, processes, data used, systems, applications and infrastructure - all of the relevant technology landscape - including any third party suppliers and providers that the business is dependent on provision of analytical and problem solving; think 'out of the box' for improvements., As the successful applicant you take accountability of supporting our client as a Solutions Architect on all their commercial insurance (IWR) from end-to-end solutions.,

• Define end-to-end solutions for the commercial insurance (IWR) architecture.


• Collaborate with existing Solutions Architecture team to develop consistent and compliant architecture.


• Work with the internal team to ensure reusable assets are identified and develop clear and concise roadmaps.


• Document work-to-be-done and status updates, execution of stakeholder engagement plan for visibility and feedback cycles.


• Create designs that are fit for purpose from a functional, non-functional, service, and security point of view.


• Deliver solutions that progress the overall architecture journey and are aligned to the clients Business and IT strategy.


• Act as a point of contact for delivery and execution, ensuring an efficient, reliable and resilient operation of the solution.
  
  Possess deep architecture experience, be technically minded with an understanding of infrastructure, systems, data, applications and how they work together to form a solution.


• Previous experience of working as Solutions Architect ideally withing the Commercial Insurance domain.


• Ability to gain a strong understanding of the client's current solutions architecture from a commercial insurance perspective.


• Ability to understand client requirements, boundaries and considerations for solutions to be successful.


• Able to review current architecture and provide migration solutions again, from a commercial insurance perspectice.


• Ability to define solution options and trade-off, create the approach and traceability through to decision-making, keeping in mind migration targets, and risk and mitigation challenges.


• Ability to collaborate with existing teams to develop consistent and compliant solutions.


• Ability to produce relevant documentation for use across the internal SA team and the wider business.


• Ability to enable engineering teams both internally and externally.
