Full Job Description

At CGS, you'll be instrumental in refining and enhancing our cutting-edge ERP system tailored to the traffic management industry. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Actively contributing to the ongoing enhancement of our system.

  • Collaborating with our team to ensure our system addresses our clients evolving needs.

  • Providing development support to end-users using Freshdesk.

    A solid understanding of software architecture, especially in ERP development

  • A proven track record of optimising codebases and contributing to system transformation projects

  • The ability to interpret end-user requests and translate them into precise development tasks, demonstrating a strong grasp of the development process

  • Comfortable working independently without needing excessive guidance

  • Excellent teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • A passion for writing clean, scalable code and keeping up with industry trends

  • Residing within a reasonable commuting distance to Retford, Nottinghamshire


    • Technical Skill Requirements:
  • PHP

  • Dreamweaver

  • Github

  • Laravel / Symfony

  • JavaScript

  • MySQL

  • jQuery

  • Experience working with legacy systems

  • API integrations

  • Experience in iOS/Android development preferred but not required.
