Full Job Description

  • Reporting to Dreadnought combat systems Software Manager on progress of tasks

  • Advising design and technical authorities on interpretation and acceptance of Software deliverables to ensure the delivered solutions meet the specified contractual and regulatory requirements

  • Collaborating with subcontractors on interpretation and acceptance of Software requirements

  • Engaging with Customer on interpretation and acceptance of Software requirements

  • Working closely with Design Assurance team to ensure a consistent approach to the above

    Degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline

  • Experience of requirements management, preferably in DOORS

  • Demonstratable experience of governance across the Software development lifecycle

  • Previous experience in stakeholder management with ability to influence decisions

  • Experience in software product and/or quality assurance


  • Desirable:
  • Some knowledge of DEVOPS (Software Factory) and baseline management would be advantageous
