Purdy Contracts Limited, part of Kinovo plc, has an exciting opportunity for a Social Value Co-Ordinator to join their team at Head Office E4, with the flexibility to travel to events and activities within London and surrounding areas.

As a Social Value Coordinator, you will play a key role in driving our commitment to creating positive social impact through strategic planning, community engagement, and data management. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference by supporting the development and implementation of our Social Value Strategy, creating strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and coordinating a range of Social Value initiatives and activities.

Strategy and Planning:

  • Support with delivering the Social Value Strategy by coordinating extensive social value activities across the multiple communities we work with.

  • Research social value industry events and identify new Social Value opportunities.

  • Support existing clients with their Social Value commitments and provide regular reports.

  • Support the bid team with the Social Value requirements for tenders, ensuring that the Social Value committed is in line with our strategy and the customer's goals.

  • Support with Social Value training across the organisation.


  • Support the operational teams to deliver specific contractual Social Value requirements of clients, local authorities, and frameworks.

  • Support the development of supplier and client partnerships.


  • Data Management and Analysis:

  • Collect data and input into Thrive (our Social Value platform).

  • Trend analysis on current metrics and measure the growth of Social Value impact.

  • Evaluate local needs and ensure that our activities meet these needs.


  • Communication and Administration:

  • Share Social Value activities on the internal intranet.

  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and proposals for client meetings and internal stakeholders.

  • Create good news stories highlighting achievements relating to social value for internal and external promotion.

  • Attend and take minutes at relevant Social Value meetings.


  • Support colleagues with producing Social Value impact reports and extracting reports to distribute to clients, partners, and internal Teams.

  • Support with company surveys such as supplier carbon emissions, Biannual pulse surveys and materiality surveys for suppliers, clients and shareholders.


  • Engagement and Networking:

  • Engage with clients, suppliers and stakeholders on community projects. Supporting with coordination and volunteer management.

  • Support Contract Managers with Social Value activities that they would like to carry out.

  • Co-ordinate a minimum of 40 Social Value activities per year.

  • Support the SHEQ Manager with Sustainability projects.

  • Work closely with a Social Value apprentice and support them with their development.

  • Represent our organisation at job fairs and educational events.

  • Develop strong working relationships with colleagues across the business to encourage commitment to Social Value, develop Social Value Champions and collaborate on Social Value projects that cross over into different departments.

  • 35-hour working week, Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00

  • £27,000k - £30,000k per annum DOE
