Full Job Description

What You Will Do in Your Working Day: Your day-to-day tasks will revolve around honing essential research skills vital for success in the field of social research. You'll:

  • Design surveys, conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses, and craft comprehensive reports.

  • Develop proficiency in statistics and utilize various research methodologies.

  • Cultivate teamwork, communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.

  • Begin with quality checking key outputs and gradually take on more responsibilities, including conducting independent analysis and managing small-scale projects.

  • Gain insights into all facets of the research process, explore diverse sectors, understand client needs, and learn about industry-leading practices.


  • The training you will be getting

    The Training You Will Be Getting: You'll undertake a Social Researcher Level 6 apprenticeship standard, supplemented by a (BA) Applied Social Research program. Our blended learning approach offers a mix of online and face-to-face learning experiences:

    Online Learning:
  • Participate in live, real-time online classes.

  • Engage with online distance learning materials, requiring approximately 6 hours per week.


  • Face-to-Face Learning:
  • Attend Kent University annually during Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, and Year 4.

  • Benefit from quarterly day-long face-to-face teaching sessions in London, potentially extending to other locations based on employer demand., Upon completion of your apprenticeship, you'll emerge as a fully-fledged Social Researcher within our organization. Armed with comprehensive skills, knowledge, and hands-on experience, you'll be equipped to contribute meaningfully to our research endeavors, shaping policies and making a tangible difference in society.
