Snr Warehouse Ops Clerk NIGHTS

Reporting into the Stock and Admin Manager you will ensure the day to day functions of the administration department are completed, in support of the operation.
You will be responsible for

You will assist the administration department through daily pinch points, cover sickness/holidays as required, manage time sheets for each shift, authorising holidays allowing adequate cover to maintain performance, monitor and investigate Customer Service queries.

Participate in stock take set up / warehouse moves and compliance. You will also liaise with the Transport Team Managers with regards to supporting them with operations clerks.

Control the efficiency of order capture processes ensuring late picks are handled in a timely manner.

Supervise and manage your direct reports across the all offices within Warehouse.

Develop your direct reports, holding reviews and dealing with disciplinary/grievance matters as they arise in line with agreed policies.

Oversee and manage the health and safety operations ensuring that the workplace is a safe environment to work in.
You will need

GCSE Maths and English-grade C or above. (new grading equivalent GCSE grade 4 or above)

Previous administrative experience as well as experience of Warehouse Management Systems.

PC Literate (particularly all aspects of Microsoft 365)

Ability to work as part of a team, analyse verbal and numerical data, working on own initiative and under pressure.

Good time management and communication skills.
