Full Job Description

We have an amazing stable team of experienced and younger Vets as well as a fantastic team of highly skilled and dedicated Nurses. We have a dedicated wellbeing group who have organised among other things a practice trip to Jimmy's Farm, celebrations of Veterinary Nurse and veterinary reception awareness days and our annual Easter egg hunt. We have regular clinical and practice meetings and run frequent CPD sessions in house. We are passionate about supporting and teaching. We have an Imaging certificate holder within the team.
We have all the usual equipment including endoscope, digital x-rays, dental x-ray, ultrasound with imaging certificate holder who also carries out echocardiography, Orthopaedic Surgeon, Class 4 therapeutic laser and multiparameter monitoring.
Step into a supportive start
Your normal working hours will be 40 hours per week over 4 days per week.
8am - 7pm with 1 hour for lunch plus one in 3 Saturday mornings working 8am - 1pm.
This will be the fourth graduate in a row that we have supported through GDP and the graduate scheme. The other three all still work for us at various stage of their career. The Clinical Director is passionate about helping and supporting new grads through their first few years in practice and beyond. We believe in high clinical standards but the welfare of animals in our care comes above all else. We are lucky to have a number of very experienced vets to support our newer colleague's day to day as well as an amazing team of nurses and non-clinical staff.
